Yup. Like the title says, long time no see. I have been away from what seems like ages, but in reality is only a few months. College has kept me so busy, it seems I never have the time to do anything. I don't get to draw as much as I would like to and the only time I do anything artistic, it is for class. I don't get to party as much as I would like to. I have become a hermit, only coming out for food, water, classes, work & the gym. How sad is that?! I can't wait to graduate and get out of here. It starting to feel a lot like high school again. I'm just going through the movements not feeling anything going on around me. I really want to graduate.

Nothing going on in the personal life all that much. Cause: school. Like I have the time to put effort into a personal life. I think not. For now, it's just me, myself, and I. :-)

Highlights of the past months so far:
Jenn gave me a cute piggy bank after coming back from Spring Break in Florida
Maria, Ree, Abigail & I had breakfast and watched 300. "This is SPARTA!!!"

I just found out just a minute ago that Ms. Policella, my high school religion teacher, passed away. The last time I saw her she looked like she was getting better. I can honestly say I'm going to miss her.

1. GOT A JOB
So I got a job at the bookstore. It's a pretty good deal. I'm in charge of General Merchandise. Yay! I have 3 friends working there with me now. Two of them I met freshman year and the other I just met recently. She's a nice girl and she's starting here in the fall.
Then there are lazy people in the bookstore. Specifically one person. A friend of mine who deosn't work in the bookstore says he is slow from an experience when she was buying a sweater. I mean the guy does squat. I remember one time when my guy friend was taking these boxes off of the cart, the lazy bum was just sitting there watching him. So what did Nicole do? I volunteered to help him and gave the lazy one the evil eye. You will hear more of my complainig and griping abput him throughout the year.

2. ST. LOUIS
So Ed, Athena, Zach, adn I went to NACA(National Association for Campus Activities). We were representing SAC. We had the best logo there. We met a lot of colleges there that are nearby. We got some great ideas for SAC, like committees, and a year round event, that Ed's crazy about. Everyone will find out when the semester starts.
Of course, there were hot goys. I was so happy I went. Not only were they hot but smart. You got to love smart, hot guys. They are the best.

3. EATING HEALTHY
So thanks to my DirectTV that I have at home, I've been trying to eat healthier. I've been working out too. I still have a little flab on my stomach, but when you press it you feel the muscle underneath. So all I have to do is run it off. Yay! I'm doing the 3 meals a day and 2 snacks in between to help speed up my metabolism. When I'm home I tend to eat less food. In fact I rarely eat junk food when I'm home. So let's hope I'll be able to keep that up once the semester starts. So with Jenn's help I will be able to go back to my high school size. I miss you roomie.

4. PORTFOLIO
I've finished my resume and it's in the process of being reviewed, so I want to get to work on a portfolio. I recently found out that Jerry's Artist Outlet sells Prat presentation portfolios. I'm gonna try and do a wider selection of art, so I'll have something to show if I go on an interview. I'm also trying to improve upon my photoshop. Thank goodness for magazines. They give me so much inspiration. Once I get my tablet, I will rule photoshop with an iron fist. Well not an iron fist, more like tin or aluminum.

5. CRAZY LADY
On Thursday, fifteen minutes before the store was to close some lady came in complaining that her Dole tasted funny, while mind you it was just put in earlier that day. So the lady starts to go off on me. I call my manager and while I'm on the phone she's still yelling. When my manager came up front, she dealt with the lady and told me not to pay her any attention.

6. PERMIT
I HAVE MY PERMIT! YAY!

So yea, I'm back home. I moved back Wednesday night and did a little bit of moving my stuff into the closet by the door. I plan to unpack later. Yesterday I started to miss my NJIT people. I missed my roommate Jenn and our suitemate Allison. I miss Erica and Sam who are probably hard at work at the MV office. I spent most of my day yesterday sleeping. I didn't get out of bed till around 12. I made up for my 3 hours of sleep I was living on, on for the whole of Wednesday. I miss my SAC people and all of my wonderful freshmen I saw day to day. Heck I miss seeing that girl outside of Laurel that doesn't know how to dress. Jenn you know who I'm talking about.
Oh well. So far I've done one drawing and I'm halfway done with reading V for Vendetta the comic. It's really good reading. It actually forces me to make use of all the SAT words and Latin derivatives that are stored away in my head. Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici: "By the power of truth, I while living, have conquered the univerese." I love this quote. Once I'm done with V, I have to read The DaVinci Code. Oh and also I watched She's The Man. Amanda Bynes is the only teen movie star I love. The movie was hilarious. Because of her there are two plays that I now have to read. Her What A Girl Wants was based on the play The Reluctant Debutant and this new movie is based on The Twelfth Night by Shakespeare. Now to continue watching TV and reading V at the same time. I know, I'm so weird.

I kicked CiS butt baby! Instead of maintaining my "C" average I got B+. I'm so happy. Yay! I'm off to pat myself on the back some more and read V for Vendetta. Peace.

I had a pretty cool birthday. Everything went good. The weather was good. Reehana gave me a birthday card and helped me buy V for Vendetta the comic. My aunt bought me a new pair of sneakers and some clothes. My brother gave me money. Smart brother, I have. Back to V for Vendetta. I can't wait to read it. I hope in between massive studying for finals I can read it. I finished X-23 on Friday. Mind you I started it Friday at around 4 and finished around 6ish, 7ish. It was good. It told the whole story of Wolverine's clone daughter, X-23, also known as Laura. I'm sure everyone is bored. For those who aren't, check it out on Wikipedia or at Marvel.com.

I have a IT project due Tuesday. I hope my group and I'll get it done. I have to write a stupid 5 page essay on some guy. I'm gonna try and knock that one out today(Monday). Once that is gone, I'm going to spend the rest of my week studying for my math final which is on Friday. While studying for math, I'll do a little studying for CIS. I'm not worried about IT. If I use the weekend to study for IT, I'll be good. I'm only worried about Math & CIS. I want to keep my "B" average in Math & my "C" average in CIS. That's all that matters.

Also I got a summer job working in the bookstore. Yay Me! Now I have to see if I can find an internship somewhere to go along with that and I'm set. I got a job. I can smell the money already.

Okay, enough of my rambling. It's 1:00am and I don't feel like working on that stupid essay right now, so I'm gonna go to sleep. Night.

Today is my birthday. I'm 20. One more year till I am an adult. Woopee. 20 yet still i'm 5' 1" and still look like I'm 16. Uggghhh. Anyway, now I have to study my butt off for the next few weeks because of Finals. Oh well I plan to truly celebrate my birthday this Thursday. I'm going to party and then pass out, preferably in my warm bed. I can't wait. Oh well back to my bubble tea. :-p

Yea, like the title says. I have returned. I so suck when it comes to keeping up with websites I used to frequent. I made a list of sites I check everyday when I sit at my computer for the first time. It's about 16 and live journal is in the top 10.

Let's see. I am actually doing better in CiS. My grade went from a D to a C. Woohoo! Those who know me from high school may be wondereing why I'm happy with a C. Those who know me now, know I hate the class with a passion. Therefore a C is my personal A in the god forsaken class. Math went up to from a C+ to a B. All my other classes are fine.

I've been working my ass off at the gym. Well actually I haven't been working my ass off, cause that would be an injustice to the world. It's more my thighs and stomach. I'll put up a photo of myself on myspace & facebook to show my slimmed down body. My goal is to be back in my wonderful size six that I had throughout high school.

Also on Friday, I'll be attending semi-formal, thanks to peer pressure and all that. Plus it was free, so I decided to go. Stupid tuition, has me strapped for cash. Anyway, I'll be taking tons of pictures of myself and I'll be asking people to take photos of me too. --Wow, I think I'm more conceited than Remy Martin. Oh well. I blame my IC ppls and my NJIT ppls for this. I <3 you all.-- My whole ensemble is Nine West. I have a Nine West bag, Nine West shoes and a Nine West dress. I'm a walking billboard for Nine West. All I need now is Nine West shades. I wonder if they make them?

I'm sad I can't go to my friend Maria's model thing for children in the Philippines. It's a benefit thing for schools. I wish I could go. Again, stupid tuition. If I didn't have to deal with tuition, I would so go to that and LL Cool J at the Nokia Theatre, Friday April 28th. Oh my goodness. That would probably beat out Fort Minor. As much as I love Mike Shinoda's smile, LL's lips and body are much more appealing.

Forgot to mention what I'm doing music wise: Let's see I've been listening to Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Common, Kanye West, Fort Minor(I <3 Mike Shinoda), Lyfe Jennings, and etc. I'm listening to some 1990s and early 2000 stuff. Like Destiny's Child Writing's on the Wall and Pink's first 2 albums. Also Maxwell & Eric Benedt are in there also. Now I'm currently stuck in an old school worm hole. New Edition, Bell Biv Devoe, Bobby Brown, Immature, IMx, Color Me Badd(I <3 iferneinez, my roomie), Jodeci, and Whitney(How Will I Know).

Also this is a major plea. If anyone has the Immature song from Good Burger ft. Ed called "Watch Me Do My Thing", PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, IM me @ decarla86. I NEED that song desperately.


Now I'm off to check my neglected subscribtions.

For Thanksgiving break I practically did nothing the whole time. I got my hair done and I went to the bank. I spent thanksgiving with my aunt. I ate good and in the morning we went to iHop. Then I went home and layed around. I never get anything done at home.

The only 2 exciting things that really happened to me was when I went over to my Uncle's with my brother to help him with his computer. It lead to me getting to finally see Roll Bounce starring Shad Moss aka Bow Wow. It was okay. It showed the love of a boy for his mother and what happens when he loses her. It was so sad. It also talks about friendship and stuff. This is the one of the few movies that Megan Good isn't portrayed as a slut. But there was some happy funny moments. You remeber that black girl in Full House with the curly hair that hung around with Michelle and the boy played by Tahj Mawry. Well she was in Roll Bounce. She's really tall but practically looks the same. So she stayed pretty. Also the boy who plays Moesha's brother is in the movie.

Also I saw Usher's In the Mix. It was ok. It wasn't great, but it was ok. I felt for him when he got hurt saving the Mob boss. [I'm not giving away anything the commercials/trailers haven't showed you already ]. All I have to say there was a somewhat happy ending.


Now for the best part. Before leaving for break I got the Harry Potter movie. I couldn't help myself. I couldn't wait till Saturday to see it with Reehana. But I did wait. Well I peaked a little at it on my computer. All I knew before from the movie was that Harry wakes up sweaty. Anyway it was great in the theatre. And Hermione did her trademark shrill girly scream. You know the one she let out in the third movie when she was on the whomping willow. It was hilarious. Me and Ree started to laugh. It was so dark and spooky. It strayed from the book a lot of times but I understand because of the time contstraint. And YES I cried at the end. I couldn't help it. It was so sad. Poor Cedric.

I did a miniscule amout of IT hw. I just fiddled with stuff and then I decided to go watch TV instead. I got caught up on my sleep, which I really didn't need since I get a lot of sleep during the school week. I don't do the ALL-NIGHTER thing and I refuse to. I think it's counter-productive.

So that's all that really happened. Now I'm gonna spend this whole week doing work I could have done during break. Well not really this whole week. more like the next three days.

So far this semester has been pretty good. I think I'm going do better than last semester. I got a job working in my major's department, which I love. Not only do I get time to do homework but I grow to love my major everyday. Dorky, right? But hey Information Technology is a lot of fun. We have a Multimedia/Graphic Design concentration that I'm in and I love it. Also I've been trying to draw more often. I have some ideas for big projects but I never follow them throught. I have some massive cardboard like paper in my room. I want to do large water color pictures. One is definitely going to be Sailor Moon and another by a seascape.

It seems I have been suffering from lonely pangs every now and then. Maybe it's because of my new obsession. My roommate Jenn knows what I'm talking about. She was there for me during my previous Basketball obsession. :P Knowing me I'll probably keep my mouth shut. Oh well. Back to work. I really need to update this thing on a daily basis like my friend Abigail. That way I can get rid of the day's stress or relive my happy moments.
